Keeping track of cemeteries is an often neglected or overlooked area for city and county governments. Although, everyone agrees that it is a very important function and one where accuracy and dependability are of the utmost importance. In this day of relational databases and system redundancy, we sometimes find that people are still using paper records or locally-stored spreadsheets that are far too susceptible to damage, inaccurate entries, and physical loss.
